William Dennis Oliver
William Dennis Oliver, 74, of Meridian, ID, passed away on
February 17, 2014, after a brief and valiant battle with cancer.
Bill ("Ollie" to friends) was born on August 20,
1939 in Spokane, WA, moving to the S.F. Bay Area in 1952.
Bill married his high school sweetheart and
they had 4 children (Desi, Darsel, Brett, & Brad).
Bill spent 42 years as a respected Tool &
Die maker with the majority spent at Perry Tool & Research in Hayward,
CA.
In 1978 Bill met the love of his
life, Carol Ziegler and they married on St. Paddy's Day in 1979.
Together they had over 34 years of marriage
where they created a lifetime of many, many happy memories.
In 2001, Bill retired and he and his wife
moved to Boise, ID to be near his son, Brad & his family.
Bill absolutely lived for cooking (&
eating!), working in his beloved backyard, making his famous smoked salmon and
most of all-entertaining family & friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his daughter, Desi, son, Brett
and leaves behind his lovely wife, Carol, daughter, Darsel, son, Brad,
grandchildren, Justin, Kayla, Kaitlyn, William, and his beloved dog, Daisy.
The family would like to thank St. Al's Cancer Center and Idaho
Home Health & Hospice for their kindness, care & compassion.
