Wilma Donahue Brown, 70, of
Boise, died Friday, April 3, 2015, at home of natural causes.
A graveside service will be
held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Dry Creek Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the
Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.
Wilma was born on March 13,
1945 in Grouw, The Netherlands, the daughter of Roelofje (Ruth) Tjeerdsma and
Hotze Lenos. She moved to California and
graduated from Escondido High School in Escondido, CA. Wilma lived in various places including
Southern California, Western Washington and Southern Idaho. Since 1992 she has lived in Wendell and
Boise.
Wilma was self-employed most
of her life, working as a cosmetologist, realtor, in antique stores and also an
internet collectible doll business.
On September 8, 1996, Wilma
married Marvin Brown in Hagerman, ID.
She was a member of Valley
Life Community Church in Meridian, ID.
Wilma enjoyed her family and
friends and was a loving woman who cared for everyone she met. Her hobbies
included collecting dolls and traveling with her husband.
Survivors include her
husband, Marvin; daughters, Ruth
Donahue, Dorrinda Ellifrits, Stacey D'Ambra, Michele Mattson, Katie Brown and
Amy Brown; a sister, Jane Dragt,
Olympia, WA and a brother, John Lenos, Valley Center, CA; twelve grandchildren and one
great-grandchild. She also loved and
cared for many nieces and nephews. She
was preceded in death by her parents and a spouse of 30 years, Rick Donahue.
