Zina Zautz Fry Lindberg, 81, of Boise, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in a Boise hospital.
Zina Fry Lindberg was born February 7, 1932 in Boise Idaho to Robert and Wilma Zautz.
Zina grew up in Boise, ID and graduated from Boise High School in 1950. She married Wesley Vernon Fry in Boise. Vernon was career military which resulted in moves to Missouri, Wyoming, Washington, Alaska, Utah and Germany, before returning to Idaho upon his retirement. Vernon died in May of 1990. Zina married Colonel Lindberg in 1993 and they made their home in Boise. He died in May of 2003.
Zina is survived by two sons, Thomas and Steve Fry; three step-sons, Corey, Dan and Chad Lindberg; and one stepdaughter, Christie McGrath of Denver, Colorado. Zina is also survived by her grandchildren, Christie, Carrie, Michael, Justin, Adam, Ginny and Dustin; as well as an armload of loving great grandchildren.
In addition to her two loving husbands, Zina was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Wilma, and her sisters, Mary Caywood and Dee McManus.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2012 at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 Fairview Ave., Boise. A viewing will be held and her family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 20th. A private burial will follow the services at Dry Creek Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to a gathering in Zina's honor at the home of Bill and Gina Sharp, 4524 N. Fieldcrest Way, Boise, Id following the funeral services.
Zina brought love and laughter to all those who knew her. Her warm heart will be missed but forever remembered.
Zina's family suggests memorials be made to the Shriner's Crippled Children Fund, c/o El Korah Shrine Temple, 1118 W Idaho St, Boise, ID 83702.
